What is
Trinity College London?
TCL is an independent international examination board accredited in the UK by the Ofqual, mapped to the CEFR with wide international recognition from universities, colleges and companies. The first TCL international exam was in 1877. Nowadays 500,000 exams are conducted each year all over the world. They are: spoken and written assessments in English (ESOL), Teacher training Certificates and Diplomas, Joint Certificates(TESOL), Music and Performing Arts exams. TCL is the only organization with six interlinked series of oral (GESE), multi-competence (ISE) exams, exams for the real world of work (SEW) + ESOL Steps 1 and 2 exams for students living in the UK, ESOL Skills for Life exams for adult students living in the UK, and ESOL for Work exams for adult students living in the UK. These share a common philosophy, and provide different learners with the opportunity to choose a qualification which most suits their individual needs. The main features of TCL exams are:
